Interview With My Boyfriend | On Pregnancy And Birth

pregnancy and birth number 22222

So even though Alfie is 2 in September I wanted to do a series on ‘Interviewing’ Jonny, one on pregnancy and birth and one on becoming a new dad.

Some of his answers were pretty funny so here were go …

How did you feel when you found out I was pregnant?

I was excited, nervous, scared and shocked even though we were trying for a baby. I was pleased my balls work. {lovely!}

What was your favourite thing about me being pregnant?

I liked looking after you and feeling needed by you.

What was your least favourite thing about me being pregnant?

Your hormones! Especially in the heatwave! {I was heavily pregnant during the heatwave in 2013 and I could of killed somebody everyday}

Did you ever feel left out because it was me carrying the baby?

No, it’s tough, I’d rather it was you doing it. {Thanks babe!}

What advice would you give expectant fathers?

Just do as she says! {definitely!} Make sure you look after her and talking to the bump is amazing.

Did you have any concerns about becoming a dad?

Not really, I was excited because we had planned to have a baby. I was pleased and punch and as happy as a dog with two dicks. {Oh how lovely}

How did you feel about my body changing when I was pregnant?

It was nice to see you growing our little baby. Pregnancy suited you! {Really? I felt like an angry fat hippo!}

How did you feel when we found out we were having a boy?

Very fucking happy! I was buzzing and glad there was some one to carry my surname on.

Was labour and birth how you had expected it to be?

No it was much easier than I thought. I thought you were struggle based on your reaction when you stub your toe. {I didn’t use pain relief, and stubbing my toe is the worst pain ever!}

So there we go … I thought his answers would be much worse than that, but I’m quite happy with them!
